Really enjoyable day yesterday working alongside the @officialqosfc Community team on a brilliant project with local primary schools across Dumfries & Galloway.
After hundreds of entries, four designs were selected from pupils at Troqueer, Cargenbridge and Closeburn Primary Schools to be transformed into special edition collectible Queen of the South FC cards.
The attention to detail in the original drawings were outstanding, and it was great to spend time with the winners developing their ideas into the final digital designs. A few of their suggestions during the process made the finished cards even stronger.
Looking forward to seeing the printed cards at Palmerston Park soon, which will be available to purchase.

And that’s nearly a wrap on 2025!
Struggling to put into words just how good the year has been from a business standpoint as well as personally, but I’ll try and give it a go!
I know how lucky I’ve been to stay as busy as I have over the last 12 months. The work has taken me all over. From Aberdeen to Portugal, and from Manchester to St Andrews, with each job bringing something different.
Talking Parrot Creative continues to grow and change, largely thanks to the experience I’ve gained since launching. 2025 has given me a real push to keep building on that, and to make sure 2026 is even better.
A genuine thank you to everyone I’ve worked with this year, with special mention to @stealthcompetitions_ltd, @cairndalehotelspa, @officialqosfc, and @zackbedford_pga for the trust and the opportunities to work on things I honestly wouldn’t have imagined a few years ago.
To my family, friends, and the amazing Catherine Sharp, thank you for the support, patience, and constant encouragement, especially during the chaos.
And finally, thank you to everyone who’s supported the business throughout 2025. I know I’ve not been as active on my own channel as I would’ve like to have been, but that’s something I’m keen to improve in the new year, along with sharing a bit more of what goes on behind the scenes.
